KATE HEPPLEWHITE TUTORING
HOW I WORK
Fun, personalised, quality learning experiences for primary-aged children.
It's true what is said about helping children learn - it is one of the most rewarding things to do! I am super passionate about creating an environment where a child can realise and reach their own potential.

I strongly believe that quality, personalised learning is the most effective way to do this. By teaching one-to-one or in small groups, I am able to identify gaps within a child's learning and ensure these are addressed through fun learning activities, formative assessment and their own specific feedback.

I tutor my students from a light, inviting, purpose-created tutoring room at the front of my home, which includes all required technology, an abundance of practical resources and space to focus and enjoy learning!
My tutoring will be in person but should the need for remote learning arise, my lessons will be transferred online where quality learning will be provided through a mix of live lessons via interactive whiteboard app Doceri and video sharing platform, YouTube.

My Tutoring Space

My purpose-designed space is in the process of being created. I have made a commitment to creating an environment which will be conducive to quality learning by converting my kitchen at the front of my home (my new kitchen is going in the garage conversion!)
Having this space at the front means it is completely separate from my home allowing for a quiet, uninterrupted space. With it's own restroom and storage facilities, it is the perfect set up.

These works are due to take place at the beginning of May, with completion expected in June. Photos and opportunities for visiting to follow!
